Background:
For a new store opening project in New York, we served as the primary partner overseeing the entire IT infrastructure. We provided end-to-end support covering network design and implementation, as well as large-scale cabling work and the deployment of physical security solutions. By addressing the unique technical requirements of a cross-border project between US and Japan, we successfully established a stable operational environment along with an advanced security framework.
2. System Configuration
To enhance in-store safety and operational efficiency, we installed Dome cameras and Fisheye cameras throughout the store, creating a centralized, high-definition monitoring environment accessible from a Viewing Station in the back office.
For areas requiring controlled access, we implemented an Access Control system, ensuring that only authorized personnel can enter designated spaces. In addition, a keypad-controlled security system activates intrusion sensors across the entire store. When triggered, the monitoring center is set up to rapidly notify the relevant personnel and authorities.
Per-camera heatmaps provide a quick way to visualize and analyze where customers spend time in the store. By comparing dwell patterns before and after merchandise layout changes, the data can be used to measure the effectiveness of floor plan improvements.
The Verkada system supports analysis periods down to 24-hour (daily) and 1-hour (hourly) increments, giving teams the flexibility to review data at the granularity that suits their needs.

Entrance/exit cameras track customer traffic trends over time, enabling analysis of foot traffic by time of day. Beyond their core security and surveillance function, these insights are actively used as marketing data to drive improvements in store operations.
